Combat Strategy
Overview
Gashadokuro is the last of three hidden demon bosses required for the platinum trophy. These bosses are marked by golden chest icons on the map. If attempted during the story, they can be very difficult due to level difference. The easiest strategy is to save them until after completing the main story.
Recommended Timing
Post-Story Strategy
Wait until you reach level 130+ after completing the main story. At this level, you can defeat these demon bosses in seconds using the summon burst strategy.
How to Find
Location Guide:
Map: Bakumatsu > Nijo Castle > Mibudera - Main Gate
Directions: From shrine, descend from the hill south of the golden chest marker
Marker: Golden chest icon in northwest corner
Summon Burst Strategy
Instant Kill Method:
- Summon Base Skill - Equip the skill from Onmyo veteran mission (doubles summon uses)
- Ibaraki Doji - Use this summon for massive Ki damage
- Strongest Summons - Equip your highest damage soul cores
- Magic Stat - Invest points in Magic for more summon damage
- Spam Summons - Rapidly use all summon seals for instant kill
Veteran Mission Required
Complete the Onmyo veteran mission in the Eternal Rift to get the "Summon Base" skill. This doubles your summon uses and is essential for the demon boss strategy.
