Overview

Ibaraki Doji is a female oni boss wielding a sword and lightning magic. Her sword attacks are relatively fast. Her attack combos are quite wild and sometimes unpredictable as she likes to mix in various lightning techniques.

Recommended Preparation

Before the Fight 战前准备:

Clear All Collectibles - Should reach level 90+ if you cleared all collectibles for stat boosts
Alternative Strategy - Complete the higher-level Rokuhara area first for better gear
Required Ninjutsu: Shuriken + Mystery Flame + Shard Bomb

Core Strategy

Basic Combat Pattern:

Dodge Forward-Left - Under her sword attacks to circle behind
Back Attack - Hit from behind to recharge ninjutsu
Ninjutsu Burst - When Ki is full, back away and throw all ninjutsu
Summon Seal - Use summon seal for additional damage

Difficulty Warning

Recharging ninjutsu is difficult here because she blocks too much. Bait her to attack, then combo, throw shuriken, keep attacking until ninjutsu is full. When she starts blocking, wait for her to attack again to make her vulnerable.

Phase 2 - Lightning Transformation

What Changes: When she transforms into lightning mode, her sword attacks remain mostly the same, but she learns new lightning techniques that deal massive damage with wide coverage. She will launch many ranged projectiles.

Counter Strategy: Stay on the opposite side of the arena and wait for her to return to normal. Dodge her projectiles - this also charges your ninjutsu, so you can keep throwing weapons from safe distance while focusing on dodging.

Pro Tip

When she transforms into lightning mode, she stands still for a few seconds - this is free damage time! Your ninjutsu "Mystery Flame + Shard Bomb" can quickly ignite her for good burn damage.

Dangerous Attacks

Spinning Lightning Arc

Her only dangerous ranged attack. She spins around then fires two lightning arcs at you. Very predictable as she always does a back-spin first and has a long delay before firing. Just double sideways dodge to avoid.

Lightning Burst

Between her stronger attacks, she sometimes rests longer, giving you time for powerful back attacks.

Burst Damage Phase

Keep your Guardian Spirit transformation until her HP reaches 15%, then use it to finish her off. This is the safest approach to avoid any last-minute surprises from her lightning attacks.
