Combat Strategy
Overview
This is technically a dual boss fight. Kusanagi is a large monster. There's also a witch (Himiko) in the fight, but she has low HP and isn't very useful. You can ignore her - she auto-revives when defeated and protects herself with bubbles which makes fighting her annoying. Just defeat the main boss Kusanagi and the witch will automatically be defeated.
Recommended Level
Before the Fight 战前准备:
- Recommended Level: 95+ if you cleared all areas and sub-missions
- Equipment: Level 95+ gear (craft at forge if needed)
Core Strategy
Ninjutsu Build Recommended:
- Elemental Weakness - Kusanagi takes heavy damage from Shard Bomb + Mystery Flame fire damage
- Skill Points - 30+ skill points for more ninjutsu damage
- Dodge Pattern - Forward-left dodge to get behind Kusanagi
- Combat Loop - Hit a few times to fill ninjutsu, back away, throw everything
Fire Damage
Kusanagi is highly vulnerable to fire. Use Mystery Flame and Shard Bomb to quickly ignite him for massive damage over time.
Summon Strategy
You should have unlocked two summon slots through story progression. Assign two different seals to your shortcuts and spam them alongside ninjutsu. This keeps you at safe range most of the time while focusing on dodging.
